I am a 21-year-old filmmaker, web designer, graphic designer, and Marketing student at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. I was born in New York City and began making movies at an early age while growing up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. At age 11, I directed my first short films and skits which were filmed with neighborhood friends using our family’s video camera–and that was it– making movies became my passion. Since then, I have produced award-winning short films which have enjoyed success in film contests, and commercials that have been purchased by brands and companies (Old Spice, Tide, and more). My growing portfolio includes music videos, corporate video work, and visual effects compositions. In 2011, I partnered with YouTube by becoming an official YouTube Partner.
My first commercial success in filmmaking happened at age 17 when I directed my first commercial for a contest held by Proctor & Gamble’s "Tide to Go" brand. The commercial,, “Sorry to Keep You Waiting” , featured two friends as actors and was selected as a national finalist and aired on primetime and daytime network television in the United States during 2008. The next year, I entered another competition to make a commercial for Old Spice’s new deodorant product. This commercial, “Tame Your Pits”, was selected as the winner and purchased by Old Spice for an internet promotional campaign.
Recently I have completed a short film highlighting life in Barcelona where I studied during the fall of 2011. Additionally, I have produced a music video that was shot and produced in San Francisco for the "Google Rapper", a winning entry in a 24-hour international film competition, a Coca-Cola commercial that was a finalist in an international contest, and a music video for YouTube viral star Carly Lind.
